우리는 흔히 스칸디나비안 디자인, 혹은 북유럽 디자인이라는 표현을 사용합니다.

하지만 실제 핀란드, 스웨덴, 덴마크의 디자인 스타일은 미세하지만 각각 독특한 성격을 지니고 있습니다.

오늘 도이치블로그에서는 스칸디나비안 스타일 블로거로 유명한 Emma Fexeus의 포스팅을 통해 적어도 덴마크와 핀란드의 스타일 차이에 대해 소개해보려고 합니다

Most Scandinavian summerhouses that we see on blogs are Danish,
and while it might be difficult for an outsider to spot the differences in style between the Nordic countries,they are definitely there.
I think this summerhouse, belonging to Johanna Lehtinen, is a great example of what I see as Finnish style.
Compared to the Danish houses, this is more graphic, their use of black and bare wood is more courageous, and the overall style is a bit simpler, less over styled.
Also not as sweet as many Danish houses are, with less cute vintage items and more rough things brought in directly from the surrounding nature.
Don't get me wrong now, I love Danish style, but compared to this, it can sometimes get a bit too sweet.  

대부분 우리가 블로그를 통해 접하는 스칸디나비아 여름코티지 스타일은 덴마크스타일입니다.

외부인에게는 아마도 구별해내기 힘든 이 노르딕 국가들의 스타일 차이점이 오늘 이 포스팅에 확연하게 드러납니다.

Johanna Lehtinen의 여름 코티지는 핀란드 스타일의 대표적인 예라고 생각합니다.

덴마크의 스타일과 비교해서, 핀란드 스타일은 좀더 그래픽적이고, 블랙이나 통나무의 사용이 더욱 과감하며, 스타일 전반이 더욱 심플합니다.

또한 귀여운 빈티지 아이템의 사용이나 스위트한 느낌이 덜하며, 주변 자연에서 가져와 바로 사용하는 러프한 아이템들이 많습니다.  

하지만 오해는 마세요. 저는 여전히 덴마크 스타일도 사랑합니다. 다만 핀란드 스타일과 비교해 가끔씩 너무 스위트해진다는 느낌이 들 뿐입니다.
